CADD Technicians Duration:
12 months (up to 2,080 hours per resource)
Location:
LA, CA Overview:
We are seeking two CADD Technicians to support Skylink infrastructure and associated IT systems across the airport campus. This role focuses on field surveys, asset validation, technical documentation, and AutoCAD drawing production for newly installed IT and telecom environments. II.
Key Responsibilities:
Review existing drawings, redlines, and documentation to assess current infrastructure state Conduct on-site field surveys of Skylink IT rooms, telecom enclosures, and remote locations; capture and organize photo documentation Perform asset validation and document field conditions across Skylink-connected systems Develop and maintain as-built drawing packages using AutoCAD, including: Site plans and station floor plans Cabinet elevations and IT electrical layouts Reflected ceiling plans and field equipment details Fiber backbone and horizontal cable risers IT systems diagrams and schematics Create and maintain IT infrastructure schedules and WireCAD spreadsheets Coordinate with airport stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and standards compliance III.
Deliverables:
Complete AutoCAD drawing packages for Skylink IT infrastructure Field survey documentation and organized photo records Fiber, cable, and system riser diagrams Cabinet elevations and equipment layouts IT infrastructure schedules and WireCAD spreadsheets IV. Timeline Work priorities and assignments directed by airport stakeholders V.
Qualifications:
2-4+ years of multi-disciplinary CADD/drafting experience (engineering, telecom, or IT) Proficiency with AutoCAD 2023 or higher Experience with technical drawings, standards, and symbols Strong skills in documentation and spreadsheet development (Word/Excel) Ability to perform field surveys and work independently Valid driver s license; ability to pass background checks and security clearances Physically capable of fieldwork (walking, lifting equipment up to ~25 lbs) Strong communication skills and attention to detail VI.
