Duties Perform fiber splicing and cabling tasks using power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to ensure optimal network performance. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install and repair telecommunication systems. Perform CCTV system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support security monitoring efforts. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for low voltage wiring. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system status, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance procedures. Skills Experience with fiber splicing techniques and fiber optic cabling installation. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other field service equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of electrical standards such as NEC regulations related to low voltage wiring installations. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving in field service environments.
