Job Description
Florida High Speed Internet, a fast growing regional Internet Service Provider , seeks to hire a full time Field Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic installation techniques and materials (metal vs wood vs stucco/concrete). The candidate will also have a basic understanding of computer networking. Specific training will be provided for more detailed knowledge. The candidate should have a positive attitude, be able to follow through on task, problem solve and work independently. This position is Monday through Friday 9A to 5P, but may require some schedule flexibility to accommodate occasional special projects, urgent issues, and and some after-hour maintenance calls. Responsibilities and Duties Install customer premise equipment, resolve hardware or connectivity issues encountered by end-users of the network Deploy and Maintain access equipment on communications towers. Tower Climb training will be provided. Deploy and maintain company network components Ability to install network cabling Qualifications and Skills Neat, professional appearance. Valid Driver's License w/ good driving history. Ability to Pass a criminal background check. Experience with hand tools. No fear of heights or working on roof tops of buildings.
