Position Summary:

DOTCOM is seeking a skilled Coax Splicer with experience in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting coaxial networks. This position requires strong field knowledge of coax construction, signal testing, and system integrity to support both new builds and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform splicing, testing, and activation of coaxial cable systems Diagnose and repair signal issues using appropriate test equipment (e.g., signal level meters, spectrum analyzers) Install and maintain connectors, amplifiers, taps, and power supplies Read and interpret maps, schematics, and construction prints Complete daily production and test documentation accurately Ensure compliance with DOTCOM and industry safety standards Work independently or as part of a team in field environments

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in coax splicing or telecommunications field work Solid understanding of RF systems, signal flow, and coax network design Proficient in using test and measurement equipment for coax systems Ability to read and interpret construction prints and system documentation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Commitment to DOTCOM's values:
