This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for motivated, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, traveling for work, and assisting skilled technicians. This position requires frequent travel and extended time away from home, including overnight stays, depending on project needs.   • Travel regularly to project sites, often for multi-day or extended assignments.
  • Assist with the installation of poles, mounts, enclosures, conduit, cabling, and field equipment.
  • Support reading and following basic blueprints, construction drawings, site plans, and installation instructions.
  • Help conduct field walkouts and document existing site conditions under supervision.
  • Operate or assist with light excavation equipment, such as mini-excavators and trenchers, after proper training.
  • Aid in conduit installation, cable placement, equipment mounting, and general site preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite in all weather and terrain conditions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or issues promptly.
  • Work closely with skilled technicians and supervisors to keep projects on schedule. Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel most of the time, including overnight stays and extended assignments away from home.
  • 1+ year of experience in general construction, utility work, low-voltage installation, field service, or outdoor labor preferred.
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow direction from senior team members.
  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with excavation equipment, such as mini-excavators, trenchers, or skid steers.
  • Experience with low-voltage cabling, conduit, pole-mounted equipment, or field equipment installation.
  • OSHA 10/30
    safety certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Traffic control certifications, such as MOT or Flagger certification, a plus.
  • First Aid/CPR certification beneficial.
