Responsibilities Conduct system design assessments and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation aligned with client specifications. Manage cabling, wiring, and low voltage electrical connections using hand tools and power tools efficiently. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on computer hardware, networking equipment, and telecommunication systems. Utilize remote access software to diagnose issues remotely when applicable and provide timely solutions. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, explain system features, and support alarm system sales opportunities. Follow all safety protocols related to construction sites, electrical work, locksmithing, NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, and low voltage wiring. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in security systems or related fields such as surveillance or telecommunication. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for effective installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with computer networking, system design principles, schematics interpretation, and IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems). Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to construction safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
