Hours:
40.0 hours per week Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on the Communication and SCADA equipment Ensure compliance with all maintenance procedures and instructions including safety, quality, and environmental procedures Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to meet service availability requirements Implement and follow-up on procedures and rules for service, repair, and maintenance of the equipment Oversee the operations and correct functioning of the Communications systems and central equipment to meet performance requirements in the contract Periodically download communication, video, and voice log files; analyze log files to troubleshoot problems or provide predictive maintenance Perform troubleshooting, identification, and resolution of system and subsystem faults to support field technicians Complete operational, equipment failure, safety, and other reports as required Perform routine, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, and proper maintenance on assigned central Communication equipment, following schematics, manuals, and manufacturer instructions Ensure availability of materials, hand tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities Identify failure trends to prevent impact on fleet availability Liaise and supervise supplier staff performing maintenance works Conduct inspections and acceptance of equipment Enter information into the MMIS system Perform related duties as requested by the Manager, including shift rotation, weekend, and holiday work typical of major infrastructure projects and transit systems Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Electronics Engineering At least 3 years' experience in preventive maintenance of technical systems Expert knowledge of communication systems Ability to perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of system faults Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental procedures Ability to work in shift rotations, including weekends and holidays Excellent communication and supervisory skills for liaising with suppliers and team members
