• What you'll do
• + Assessing feasibility and safety for new builds + Identifying obstructions and make ready work that must happen before construction can begin + Perform comprehensive field inspections of OSP infrastructure, including aerial, buried, and underground fiber/copper networks, to ensure all elements meet construction, safety + Collaborate with field crews, supervisors, project managers and customer teams to resolve issues identified during the inspection process + Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, network diagrams, GIS maps + Generate precise inspection reports, documenting all findings, including defects, non-compliance issues, and required corrective actions (redlines) + Working knowledge of OSP construction techniques, practices, and materials for aerial and underground utilities + Proficiency with measurement tools, testing equipment, and electronic devices (e.

g., tablet, GPS devices) for field data collection + Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management + Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions + Other duties as assigned

• What you'll need
• + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record + 3+ years of relevant work experience in telecommunications OSP construction, installation, maintenance, or inspection (fiber, coax, copper)
• Additional qualifications
• + Quality control experience preferred + Associates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experience + Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practices + Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation
• Physical abilities & exposures
• + •Routinely•: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walking, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse + •
