Locator/Broadband Technician Apprentice

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Locator/Broadband Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Alpine Communications, a leading broadband service provider in La Porte City, IA, is excited to announce an opening for a Locator/Broadband Technician Apprentice . Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools to assist with construction tasks such as trenching, cable laying, welding, and mechanical repairs. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband services Work collaboratively with experienced technicians and other team members Support the locating of underground utilities and fiber optic lines using specialized equipment to identify underground fiber and cable. Deliver exceptional customer service while working on-site Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or related coursework is a plus. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Ability to climb structures safely and work at heights as required for utility locating or equipment setup. Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
