Field Technician

Job Title:

Support Technician About the Role We are seeking a motivated and reliable Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support for specialized healthcare applications and related hardware, both from an office and on-site. You'll work directly with clients to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, and ensure the smooth operation of their systems. Responsibilities Provide technical support for computer-based systems and specialized healthcare software Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, cabling, and software/application issues Install, test, and repair data cabling and related equipment as needed Support clients remotely, in the office, and at client sites Perform occasional local travel within Illinois, with some overnight trips as needed Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely resolution of issues Stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Qualifications Proficiency with computer systems and applications Experience troubleshooting and resolving both hardware and software issues Hands-on experience with physical systems : data cabling, connectors, and basic electrical troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly and switch between tasks efficiently Willingness to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays within Illinois Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus, but not required Why Join Us Opportunity to work with healthcare technology in a client-facing role Varied work environment (office and client sites, mix of computer and hands-on work) Supportive team with opportunities to learn and grow
