Duties Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of cable systems, including fiber optic and or copper cabling. Perform and ensure proper connections for optimal performance. Conduct network installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to verify cable integrity. Collaborate with field service teams to provide timely solutions for customer needs. Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of work performed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional service. Skills Proficiency in cable splicing techniques and cabling methods. Experience in field service roles within the telecommunications industry. Familiarity with network installation practices and troubleshooting procedures. Ability to use testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively. Strong knowledge of telephone systems and Ethernet cabling standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
