Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Install, program, maintain, and repair alarm systems, CCTV cameras, networking equipment, phone systems and access control systems. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues with these systems. Conduct periodic inspections and tests of equipment to ensure functionality. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of systems. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
Proficiency in installation, programming, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. Strong understanding of networking principles and IP-based systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity of electrical components including DC electrical concepts and wiring Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer-focused with good communication skills. Knowledge of assigning IP numbers to security cameras and servers. Experience with door hardware is a plus. Experience with phone systems, specifically IPECS, is a plus.
