Fiber Optic Field Technician

Broadband Technician Opportunity - $23/Hour + Paid Training MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking experienced Broadband Installation Technicians to support Charter operations in Natchitoches, LA and surrounding areas within approximately 35 miles of the target market. This field-based role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting technical issues, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service. Position Overview Service Area:

Natchitoches, LA and surrounding communities within approximately 35 miles

Training Location:

Bossier City, LA (Hotel and expenses provided)

Training Start Date:

June 15th, 2026 or as soon as available thereafter

Pay Rate:

$23/hour during training and after successful completion Primary Duties Install, maintain, and service broadband and telecommunications equipment Complete residential installations both indoors and outdoors Troubleshoot service interruptions and connectivity issues Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment Accurately document completed work and customer interactions Deliver a professional customer experience during every appointment Follow all safety regulations and company procedures Paid Training Comprehensive hands-on training program Instruction on installation methods, equipment usage, and safety practices Field training alongside experienced technicians Fully paid at $23/hour What MasTec Offers $23/hour starting on your first day Paid training and ongoing support Company vehicle, fuel card, tools, and uniforms provided Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and 401(k) options Employee stock purchase plan Opportunities for long-term career advancement Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license required Must live in Natchitoches, LA or within approximately 35 miles of the service area Available to begin training on June 15th, 2026 or shortly thereafter Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly Ability to carry and climb ladders up to 36 feet daily Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions Must successfully pass background, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks Required Experience This position requires previous work experience.
