Louis area and Springfield IL. We also will complete service and install out of our geographical area when there is a need. Our flagship product is the Avaya IP Office. We also provide a smaller solution with ESI Communication Systems. CTS services a variety of systems along with the most implemented systems being the Avaya Partner ACS and the IP Office. The duties would include but may not be limited to:
  • Perform service and installation with multiple phone systems with a strong focus on Avaya IPO.
  • Installation of small business network gear
  • Routers
  • Firewalls
  • Managed L3 Switches
  • Implementation of Wi-Fi access points and controllers
  • Installation of phone/data cabling, A/V cabling (including coaxial), and fiber to code.
  • Installation of A/V equipment, camera systems, and paging systems.
  • Provide technician skills that would include data gathering, installation, training, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Rotation in the on call schedule.
  • Support systems remotely with troubleshooting and MAC work when possible.
  • Maintaining company provided tools such as vehicle, cell phone, lap top, and any company provided equipment.
  • To be a self-motivated individual who exhibits sense of urgency in all service related activity.
Project Management Requirements:
VOIP EXPERIENCE A MUST
  • Experience with Avaya products including the IP Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the cabling color codes and termination standards
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong communication, organizations & presentation skills are essential
  • Ability to be able to work with minimal direction
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, as well as critical thinking skills needed with the ability to troubleshoot in an efficient manner
  • Providing and the operation knowledge of a phone technician toolkit
  • Knowledge of RS323 serial connections
  • Data/Computer knowledge including: o Data/network connections o Hyper terminal and ProComm o Microsoft Office Products o TCP/IP Knowledge o Network Routing Knowledge o L3 Manage Switches o TFTP
