The Technician, Field Operations - Enterprise & Business, is responsible for the installation, activation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber-based services for Enterprise and Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers. This role delivers high-quality connectivity solutions, including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Ethernet, VoIP, and other business services while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs). Install and activate Enterprise and SMB fiber services. Perform fiber splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting. Install, configure, and support customer-premise equipment (CPE), routers, switches, and VoIP equipment. Complete DIA, Ethernet, and managed service installations. Use OTDRs, power meters, and other test equipment to verify service quality. Troubleshoot service outages and perform repairs as needed. Work closely with the NOC, Engineering, and Customer Support teams during installations and service restorations. Maintain accurate work orders, documentation, and test results. Educate customers on services and equipment functionality. Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
