We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OSP Field Operations Technician specialized in fiber optics to join our team. As an OSP Field Operations Technician at Ezee Fiber, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining our high-performance fiber optic network. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in FTTH installation and fiber construction/pulling/splicing, who are passionate about technology, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Assist with the installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables. Support maintenance and repair activities for fiber optic infrastructure. Conduct basic site surveys and report findings to senior technicians or engineers. Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as fusion splicers and OTDRs. Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations. Document work performed, including installation details and service outcomes. Respond to service calls and assist with emergency repairs as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. Participate in training programs to develop technical competencies and stay current with industry trends.
