Candidates must be able to read, interpret, and understand splicing assignments and engineering documentation. Experience with splitters is preferred but not required. Applicants must be comfortable operating a bucket truck, working independently or with a team, and performing work outdoors in all weather conditions and at elevated heights. This is a fast-paced position within a growing industry and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Travel is required for 50% or more of the position.

Friday Responsibilities:
Read and interpret splicing documents, specifications, engineering drawings, and cut sheets to determine work sequences and assignments Repair or splice new fiber lines as needed to complete project testing and certification Place and install required enclosures according to specifications Test feeder lines, distribution lines, and splitters to required standards Read and understand site plans, maps, diagrams, designs, and prints supporting project work Utilize OTDR meters and bidirectional testing equipment to test spliced fiber for RFS Safely operate bucket trucks and/or climb utility poles to place cable per system design Complete production sheets, verify proper signal levels after activation, and troubleshoot as necessary Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and governmental regulations Follow all safety procedures and incident reporting requirements Communicate professionally with local MSO employees as a representative of Lighthouse Technologies Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain the proper endorsement for operating a nonCDL bucket truck Minimum of 35 years of fiber splicing experience Ability to splice ribbon and loose tube fiber Demonstrated proficiency with FTTH builds Knowledge of building fiber enclosures of various sizes Understanding and use of OTDR testing and bidirectional testing meters Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately and on time Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check Physical Demands The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Frequent walking, standing, and sitting throughout the workday Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 80100 pounds Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights including poles, ladders, and bucket trucks Ability to work in loud, outdoor field environments Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, management, and customers About Lighthouse Technologies USA LLC Our mission is being a trusted, long-term infrastructure service partner for U.S. telecom operators, bringing affordable and reliable connectivity to every home, school, and business in America.
