What You Will Do:

In this role, you will handle the physical rooftop setup and cabling, then team up with our remote Engineering department to get the client connected and online.

Install & Setup:

Safely install and uninstall equipment on client rooftops.

Cabling:

Run, install, and terminate shielded CAT5/CAT6 and RJ11 cables.

Tech Deployment:

Mount and physically install Access Points, Phones, Cameras, Routers, and Switches.

Troubleshooting:

Conduct routine field maintenance and basic physical troubleshooting with remote support and direction from our Engineering department.

What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience with a Microwave Internet Service Provider preferred. Previous experience with Cox, DirecTV, or satellite installations preferred. Familiarity with cable testing equipment such as Fluke or Ideal testers. Technical Skills Comfortable using a field laptop to connect to equipment and adjust basic IP settings. Manual dexterity with proficient use of hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Licensing & Background Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to successfully pass a background check. Physical Requirements Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Confident working at various heights, including carrying a 32-foot extension ladder and safely navigating single- and multi-story residential and commercial rooftops. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details for installation and troubleshooting activities. Schedule & Travel Requirements Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends. Availability for occasional evening overtime as needed. Willingness to travel out of town periodically as required.

Shift and Schedule :

40 hours/week. Scheduled days will vary (Monday-Sunday).

$18.00 - $20.00 an hour to start
