Telecom - Fiber Optic Field Technician

Installation & Maintenance Install, splice, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables in aerial, underground, and buried environments. Install network components such as closures, NIDs, ONTs, pedestals, and cross-connect boxes. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on outside plant facilities. Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose service interruptions and perform corrective actions efficiently. Use test equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and cable locators to identify and resolve issues. Coordinate with network operations and engineering teams to restore and verify service. Construction & Documentation Read and interpret engineering prints, maps, and work orders. Complete accurate as-built documentation, material usage, and work reports. Ensure all construction and restoration meets company and industry standards. Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA, company, and local safety standards at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
