Job Description:
The Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Technician reviews DAS/In-Building RF designs, iBwave files and blueprints, and defines the network architecture. As part of the DAS team, the technician will learn to install the physical layer of a wireless system and be able to test fiber, install, terminate and test coax and configure, troubleshoot, and integrate DAS equipment along with relevant monitoring components, based on the highest quality standards.
Position Areas of Coverage:
Western, Pennsylvania; Ohio; Indiana and Northern, Kentucky.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The DAS Technician is a hands-on role that will work closely with the on-site Project Lead and other team members MUST be able to read blueprints / construction drawings Solid skills with Microsoft Office Software (particularly Excel) and Outlook Travel to project locations Walk continuously throughout the job site while carrying ladders, tools, and installation materials Demonstrate the ability to complete installations independently as projects require, while working with a sense of urgency What you bring to the table: Maintain a valid driver's license Have great communication skills, be a fast learner and able to work independently and with the team Fiber optic cabling experience to include testing and troubleshooting Knowledge of building, fire and electrical codes IT, fiber optic and/or low voltage cabling experience is a bonus

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
- 7:00a
- 3:30p Schedule will involve travel and overnight stays
Training and Certifications:
If the candidate does not have any of the following certifications the company will pay for training, if required. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Fiberoptic Test OTDR and certification Anritsu PIM & Sweep or equivalent RF Awareness JMA (Connectors & TEKO DAS) Ericsson RDS Structured Cabling Installation (incl. Dot Radio Installation) SOLiD DAS CommScope DAS
- Ion-M, Ion-B, Ion-U, Ion-E Corning Mobile Access, ONE, and SpiderCloud First Aid/CPR, OSHA10 or OSHA30 Corning and EXFO Certifications a plus
Physical Demands:
Lift up to 80 lbs (unassisted) Repeatedly ascend and descend ladders ranging in height from 6ft to 14ft Why work for
