Excellence is the expectation. Perfection is the goal. Role Description This is a full‑time traveling position for a Structured Cabling Site Lead . The Site Lead is responsible for overseeing structured cabling projects in the field, coordinating installation teams, maintaining quality standards, and acting as the primary on‑site representative for GSD Telecom Services. This role is designed for experienced field leaders who are technically strong, highly organized, and ready to mentor others while driving projects to successful completion. Responsibilities Lead and manage structured cabling projects in the field Coordinate daily work plans and assign tasks to technicians Maintain project timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance Train and mentor field technicians Serve as the primary on‑site contact for customers and stakeholders Ensure all work meets BICSI and industry standards Perform and oversee rack & stack operations Troubleshoot issues and resolve field‑level challenges Complete documentation, reporting, and close‑out requirements Represent GSD professionally as the face of the company Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills • Working knowledge of analog and digital communications, VoIP systems, and networking fundamentals relevant to structured cabling project execution Field‑level project management experience Proven ability to train and lead technicians Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills Expert‑level copper and fiber installation experience Extensive rack & stack experience Knowledge of BICSI standards for structured cabling projects Cabling certifications preferred (BICSI, SYSTIMAX, Panduit ONE, etc.) High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications strongly preferred Proficient with MS Office Suite Valid driver's license Comfortable working aloft Comfortable with air travel and living within one hour of a major airport Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments Benefits Paid time off • Health insurance eligibility after 90 days of employment Leadership growth opportunities Long‑term career advancement as the company grows Emphasis on work/life balance and sustainable workloads

Pay:

$29.00 - $35.00 per hour
