Chouteau and Tahlequah, Oklahoma Position Summary Arias Communication Services is hiring an experienced Fiber Splicer to perform fiber splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and restoration work on FTTH/FTTP and outside plant fiber networks. This is a full‐time W‐2 role with benefits, company vehicle, and paid travel. Preference given to Telecommunications Technician experienced with both copper and fiber networks.

• Responsibilities Perform splicing, terminations, and testing for aerial and underground fiber networks Prepare, seal, and protect splice closures and terminations Locate and repair cable faults; complete restoration work with minimal downtime Read and interpret maps, staking sheets, splice schematics, and fiber count documents Validate end‐to‐end service provisioning and confirm accurate terminations Complete field documentation, photos, and production/time reports Follow OSHA, DOT, FCC, and company safety standards Travel to job sites and represent ACS professionally Requirements Proven fiber splicing experience (aerial and underground) High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime when required Basic computer proficiency Ability to pass drug test, background check, MVR, and reference checks Physical Requirements Lift up to 80 lbs; routinely handle 40-60 lbs Work at heights up to 50 ft (bucket truck or ladder) Perform standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crawling Work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to distinguish colors for fiber identification Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay: $25.
