In this role, you will be responsible for installing underground drop lines , restoring job sites, and ensuring clean, professional work that meets project specifications. This is a field-based position with consistent work available for technicians who are ready to perform. Responsibilities Perform underground drop installations , including trenching, boring, and hand bury Install and secure fiber or coax drop lines from tap/pedestal to customer premises Restore surfaces (soil, grass, concrete cuts) to job standards Read and follow basic prints, layouts, and work orders Safely operate trenchers, vibratory plows, and hand tools Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow all safety procedures and utility regulations Communicate job completion status and issues with dispatch or management Requirements Experience in drop bury, construction, landscaping, or telecom field work preferred but not necessary Ability to operate basic equipment and power tools Physically able to dig, trench, and work outdoors in all conditions Valid driver's license Training Training available for entry-level candidates No fixed timeline — start working while learning Technical evaluation can be completed when ready Important Notes This is a 1099 independent contractor position (no benefits) Work is production-based — higher performance = higher earnings Immediate start available
