Job Description

Work on a two man team delivering and installing household appliances in new and existing homes. Must have a strong attention to detail, be able to perform heavy lifting, and have good customer service skills. Must become proficient in all types of basic electrical and plumbing hookups. Must have a good driving record. Paid on the job training. Monday thru Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and every third Saturday. No Sundays. Higher starting pay if experienced. Summary As a Home Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician, you will be the face of our service, coordinating timely deliveries, professional installation, and dependable in-home support. You will report to the Field Operations Supervisor and leverage your mechanical knowledge to install and troubleshoot appliances, perform minor repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your role combines delivery driving, in-person customer service, and technical service tasks, with a focus on safe handling, accurate setup, and clear communication to ensure a positive, efficient experience for every customer. Responsibilities Deliver and install home appliances to residential customers, ensuring proper placement, leveling, and connection per manufacturer specifications. Perform basic appliance diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair as needed; interpret schematic diagrams and electrical wiring. Manage in-home demonstrations, provide clear user guidance, and answer customer questions to ensure satisfaction. Safely load/unload, handle heavy equipment, and maintain vehicle and tools; follow all safety protocols and quality standards. Document service activities and coordinate with dispatch for scheduling and follow-up.
