Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Installation and Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with the delivery, setup, and installation of appliances and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and timely execution. Your energetic approach will contribute to smooth operations, helping customers enjoy their new products with confidence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in appliance repair, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Assist delivery drivers in transporting appliances and equipment safely to customer locations using box trucks or similar vehicles. Support the installation process by assembling appliances, connecting electrical components, and ensuring proper setup according to schematics and technical specifications. Perform basic appliance repairs or troubleshooting when necessary, including refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical issues. Read and interpret schematics, mechanical diagrams, and electrical wiring plans to facilitate accurate installation and repairs. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during delivery and installation to protect yourself, team members, and customers. Communicate effectively with customers to explain installation procedures, answer questions, and provide excellent service throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and delivery vehicle. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or field service technician is highly desirable. Knowledge of appliance repair, refrigeration systems, HVAC units, or electrical work is a strong plus. Familiarity with schematics, mechanical assembly, and equipment repair enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role. Customer service experience is essential for building positive relationships with clients. Hands-on experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles is preferred. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot technical issues on-site will set you apart.
