Field Ops Technician

Join the Team as a Field Ops Technician! Empire Fiber is seeking someone to join our Field Ops Department within the following areas: Batavia, NY | Lehigh Valley, PA | Scranton, PA Are you someone who loves working outdoors, solving problems, and staying hands-on with technology? We are seeking a motivated and dependable Field Ops Technician to help support and maintain our growing network infrastructure and field operations. What You'll Do:

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of field equipment and network infrastructure Support construction, service delivery, and connectivity projects in the field Read and interpret maps, prints, and technical documentation Assist with underground and aerial operations, including splicing and connectivity work Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule Respond to service issues and provide excellent customer support when needed Maintain accurate documentation and workflow updates Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly

What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs Experience in telecommunications, utilities, construction, or field operations is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Why Join Us? Pay Range:
