Job Description

TXR Global Technology Services, Inc., a leader in wireless telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance, has been providing wireless services and solutions to national carriers for 20 years. Currently, we have job openings for Lead DAS Installer to join our team installing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and inbuilding wireless construction projects throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Qualifications Summary:
Minimum 3 years of experience leading crew on wireless equipment installation projects for major cellular networks customers. Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical work experience installing DAS/ inbuilding wireless systems, BTS radio equipment, DC power, fiber/Ethernet cabling, routers/switches, etc. to include testing, commissioning and acceptance for AT&T Mobility Network. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel. Familiar with web interface based software. Strong verbal and written communications skills Highly organized and productive; must plan, schedule, supervise, complete and document work efficiently and accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain satisfactory customer and co-worker relationships.
Job Specific Requirements:
Follow instructions and priorities of work and projects according to construction manager. Must be able to read and comprehend in-buiding wireless project construction drawings, RF plumbing diagrams, equipment specifications, etc. for proper installation in accordance with project designs, customer standards, and OEM guides. Ability to survey and scope project documents to accurately identify and coordinate materials, labor, equipment, and tools for project implementation. Strong experience in RF cabling and connector assemblies such as JMA and Commscope products including RF sweep and PIM testing; certifications preferred. Strong knowledge and experience with fiber optic cable splicing, cleaning and testing with OTDR or fiber test/analyzer equipment. Minimum 2 years experience with specific OEM DAS systems such as Commscope ION-U, Corning Mobile Access, etc. Minimum 2 years experience with specific
OEM BTS RAN
equipment such as Nokia and Ericsson, AC power/circuits, DC power/battery back up systems/wiring, routers/switches, fiber/Ethernet cabling, conduit, overhead/ladder cabling, etc. Minimum 2 years experience installing AT&T Mobility wireless projects to include all testing and close out documentation. Turf construction experience preferred. Proven track record of successfully and accurately completing installation jobs according to the scope of work, schedule, manpower, materials, closeout documents, and customer acceptance to meet deadlines and budgets. Supervises field installation personnel, materials, equipment, testing, safety and cleanliness at job sites. Performs turn-up, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment and circuits, assists with commissioning and integrating. Climbs ladder to install equipment or cabling when the area is inaccessible from the ground. Completes job documentation and records accurately. Ensure that the highest quality of service and workmanship is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction. OSHA certified and adheres to safety guidelines and requirements. The job requires travel, and/or overnight work. Valid drivers license required.
