Field Service Technician - Camera Systems for Paper Machines

Papertech Inc. is the leading vision technology vendor for paper and tissue production worldwide. Papertech, with Head Office in Vancouver, Canada is a subsidiary of the IBS Paper Performance Group , an international leader in the custom design and fabrication of paper machine components, with plants across the United States, Canada, and worldwide. Recent demand has created an important opening for a qualified individual home-based in Manfield, Luisiana. The Role As a Field Service Technician for camera systems , you will represent Papertech as the on-site expert. You will work with a small team or individually to service, troubleshoot and repair camera vision systems for production lines. Your goal is to optimize the efficiency of the systems within the facilities and make recommendations on system improvements . You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our camera systems at paper mill facilities throughout the Southern U.S. region.

Key Qualifications:

Field experience (3 - 5 years) in electronics/network/telecommunication maintenance Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting is essential Capacity to build confidence with plant employees Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and photography, CCD cameras and machine vision is an asset. (Training provided) Paper manufacturing/automation knowledge is an asset Fluent speaking and writing in English is essential
