In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting geophysical surveys, collecting data, and analyzing field results. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related engineering field are preferred, along with knowledge of ground penetrating radar, electromagnetics, and radio-detection techniques. While 1-3 years of related experience is recommended, we welcome enthusiastic individuals looking to grow in this field. This position is loosely located around the Southeast/mid-Atlantic region, centralized around North Carolina. Interested candidates are encouraged to live anywhere within this area with the expectation to travel throughout the region. Responsibilities Safely commute to sites that vary in distance in various weather conditions Independently manage site activities and convey findings to clients in a clear and professional manner Perform geophysical surveys and different project scopes in varying locations, environments, and conditions Coordinate with managers and clients for site scheduling, scope of work, equipment usage and limitation, and future project expectations Follow all safe practices when performing work and site-specific safety practices Record/document site information and field findings and prepare project specific deliverables Properly use and maintain all field equipment, laptop, company vehicle, and all other company property Preferred Skills / Experiences Strong ability to self-manage and maintain proper time management Strong driving skills and awareness on road Understanding of common subsurface utilities such as electric, gas, water, telecommunications, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, fiber optic, etc. Basic understanding of geology or common environmental industry practices Problem solving skills and critical thinking, demonstrating the ability to piece together information into a larger picture Effective communication and the willingness to learn

Hour Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related engineering field. 1-3 years of work-related experience Working knowledge of computer software, AutoCAD a plus Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Able to lift up to 60 pounds. Able to walk up to 5 miles per day Able to use any required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $50k - $70k. Salary is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, scope of role, company responsibility, etc.
