Local and Regional Travel Required About Us Legend Networking & Telecom is a nationally recognized Healthcare IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in dental and medical technology solutions. For over 22 years, we have helped healthcare practices design, build, deploy, and support their technology environments. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure & Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, building technology environments, and supporting clients directly. Position Overview The lead Infrastructure & Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting a wide range of technology systems including network infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, surveillance systems, audio/video equipment, and workstation deployments. This role serves as the field extension of our engineering team and is critical to the successful deployment and support of our client environments. Responsibilities Install and replace routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network infrastructure Troubleshoot network connectivity, internet outages, and hardware failures Rack, stack, label, and organize network and server equipment Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 cabling Install and support surveillance camera systems and NVRs Install televisions, conference room equipment, speakers, and audio/video systems Perform workstation deployments, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues onsite Assist with office buildouts, expansions, relocations, and technology upgrades Document completed work and communicate effectively with project managers and engineers Provide remote troubleshooting and support using RDP, TeamViewer, Splashtop, or similar remote-access tools Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in IT field services, network installations, or low-voltage infrastructure Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals Experience troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and internet connectivity Experience with low-voltage cabling installation and termination Experience with rack-and-stack deployments and equipment installation Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience Healthcare or dental technology experience Experience with Ubiquiti, SonicWall, Fortinet, or Meraki equipment Experience with surveillance camera systems Experience with Microsoft 365 environments Experience with TeamViewer, RDP, ConnectWise Control, or Splashtop CompTIA A+, Network+, BICSI, or related certifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work on ladders and in ceilings when required Ability to travel to client locations throughout Texas and surrounding regions Why Join Legend Networking?
