SUE Technician Field-Based | Utility Locating & Mapping Looking for a hands-on role working outdoors with advanced technology? Join our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) team and help locate and document underground utilities that keep projects safe and on track. What You'll Do Support a SUE Analyst and field crew on active job sites Locate underground utilities using GPR, EM locating, and vacuum excavation Operate survey equipment including GPS and total stations Work safely around live utilities and construction environments Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment Travel to project sites (occasional overnight travel) What You Bring Experience with survey or utility locating equipment Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions Able to lift 50 lbs and operate field tools Safety‑minded, reliable, and able to work independently Bonus Points 2+ years SUE experience or technical training CDL Experience on secure or regulated sites The Work Environment 100% field-based Projects across the Carolinas, VA, GA , and surrounding areas Longer hours during busy project periods Why This Role?
