Job Title:

Helper - Low Voltage / DAS Installation Job Description We are seeking a motivated Helper to support low-voltage and DAS installation projects throughout the Tennessee market. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates, including individuals straight out of trade school or those with limited hands-on experience, who are eager to learn and grow in the telecommunications field. This role requires flexibility for up to 50% travel, including overnight stays in Richmond. Skills Needed (Required) Basic mechanical aptitude with a working understanding of hand tools Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of technicians Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow in the telecommunications field Reliability, accountability, and punctuality Ability to work effectively as part of a team in active construction and campus environments Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays when required Ability to work safely and follow job site safety protocols Skills Recommended (Preferred / Nice to Have) Exposure to low-voltage or telecommunications work (DAS, fiber, coax, or structured cabling) Trade school or technical training in electrical, low-voltage, or telecommunications systems Familiarity with basic cabling concepts (fiber, coax, Ethernet) Experience working in construction, campus, or large-scale facility environments Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude Interest in long-term career growth within low-voltage, DAS, or wireless infrastructure Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
