The position requires completing customer installations, service visits, on-site troubleshooting, and recovery of equipment. Work is performed on site at customer locations both with a physical aspect of installing Internet equipment, as well as a technical portion of updating databases.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability. Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore functional service to existing customers. Install new customers with Internet service based on technology available, which includes mounting equipment at or above roof height, running Cat5-E or Fiber Optic cable from outside to the customer's desired location. Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner. Ability to work independently, using sound judgment principles. Must demonstrate a desire to learn, supported with a love for technology. Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check. Must be able to use tools to install equipment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Work Environment/Hazards:

Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind Working in elevated places such as towers

Physical Demands:

Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of at least 60 pounds or more Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms Must be able to climb roof tops of all types and to perform job duties from high places. Frequently required to use hand and power tools Must have the ability to climb extended heights upwards of 200 feet Employee weight and tools combines may not exceed 300-pound limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.

Working Hours/Days:
