This full‑time position, based primarily at our Fort Worth headquarters, provides offsite technical installations and service support for a wide range of municipal, education, healthcare, and corporate customers. We are seeking a proven professional to join our Operations and Service Teams for both new construction and renovation projects, as well as ongoing service and inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and at least five years of experience installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or performing quality‑assurance inspections on life‑safety and commercial communication systems, including fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and public address solutions. Key Responsibilities Performs installation, service, and troubleshooting of low‑voltage life‑safety and communication systems, including fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and public address. Conducts quality‑assurance inspections, system commissioning, and technical documentation for new construction, renovations, and ongoing service projects. Works from technical drawings and drafting documents to ensure accurate, code‑compliant system implementation. Provides field support for municipal, educational, healthcare, and corporate clients, delivering professional and timely service. Collaborates with operations and service teams to complete projects efficiently and uphold industry standards. Experience Those candidates with expertise and experience in installing and servicing life safety systems of of the following technologies are highly encouraged to apply: Systems of Technical Expertise Emergency communication systems Fire alarm systems Access control systems Audio/visual and sound reinforcement systems Video surveillance systems Intrusion detection systems Master clock systems Nurse call systems Emergency responder radio communication enhancement systems Public address systems Prefer One or More of the Following Certifications or Licenses Fire Alarm License (FAL) Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent License (APS) NICET Certification(s) Texas Online Private Security (TOPS) License Applicable Technical Skills Expert use of a multimeter Knowledge of relay logic is a plus Cable installation, labeling, and termination Experience in other low-voltage systems Competency working with Excel spreadsheets Proficient in reading and accurately interpreting blueprints, addenda, and technical specifications Professional Attributes Self-motivated/self-driven and able to work independently. Strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
