Job Description

Step into an exciting opportunity as a Subsurface Utility Engineer Technician in Spring Branch, Texas with a growing, people-first firm known for blending a friendly, laid-back culture with strong professionalism and a get-the-job-done attitude. This is a great role for someone who enjoys hands-on fieldwork, advanced utility locating technology, flexible growth paths, and being part of a mid-sized organization that values communication, leadership opportunities, and taking care of its team. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Subsurface Utility Engineer Technician position include: 2-3+ years of relevant experience with utility line locating equipment and SUE designating High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred Designate buried utilities using advanced geophysical technologies and accurately interpret subsurface information in the field and during post-processing Research utility company records, perform field observations, and support project goals, scope of work, and client expectations Assist with utility excavation work while following all applicable safety guidelines and scope requirements Operate and maintain surveying and SUE equipment, support cross-training in both departments, and safely use company vehicles on a per-job basis Ability to work outdoors in all seasons, travel weekly for day assignments, and travel overnight frequently throughout Texas Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional image
Salary :
$22 - $32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
