Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed Experience with switchgear and electrical controls system Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams Plusses Military background Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for multiple Traveling Field Service Technicians to join their team out of Atlanta, GA and Ashburn, VA. This role involves attending project meetings as needed and coordinating with contractors and clients to support field activities. Responsibilities include the installation and modification of electrical and mechanical components and subassemblies such as panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, bus bars, switchgear sections, control components, power cabling, and control wiring. The position performs basic testing and commissioning of modified assemblies, switchboards, control panels, and power products, as well as troubleshooting electrical circuits and associated networking equipment. The role also supports preventive maintenance, field installations, and equipment modifications, while collaborating with technical project management and manufacturing teams to resolve product or commissioning issues and identify required field resources and replacement parts. Technical product support is provided throughout installation and post-installation activities.
