Low-Voltage Field Technicians

We are actively seeking skilled Low-Voltage Field Technicians to join our fast-growing network of nationwide contractors. If you're a tech-savvy professional with hands-on experience in low-voltage systems, data cabling, or device installation, this is a high-paying opportunity to get steady work in your local area. As a 1099 contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility of choosing assignments that fit your availability while receiving real-time notifications for jobs in your area.

Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A Ethernet cabling Troubleshoot and service low-voltage wiring systems, including voice/data, POS, security, or AV Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scope-of-work instructions Mount, configure, and deploy devices (e.g., network switches, access points, IP cameras, etc.) Use basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently Communicate clearly with ATS project managers and clients onsite Complete jobs on time with proper documentation and photos

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable low-voltage or structured cabling experience Ability to use a punchdown tool, tone and probe, and cable tester Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites Basic PPE and toolset required (drill, snips, fish tape, etc.) Smartphone with data plan to check in and upload job details Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred but not required: BICSI Certification OSHA 10 or 30 Lift certification Fiber optic experience
