Join Alaska Commercial Company (ACC) as a Motorized Equipment Technician / Equipment Maintenance Technician and help support the equipment that keeps rural Alaskan communities supplied.

Schedule:
Full-time (Schedule may vary based on equipment readiness needs and shipment deadlines)
Pay:
Starting at $24.25+/hr., depending on experience Reports to: ADC Warehouse Manager This position is eligible for our Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP), offering an annual performance-based bonus opportunity.

Role:
As a Motorized Equipment Technician, you will assemble, inspect, maintain, and repair motorized equipment—including ATVs and snowmachines—ensuring they are safe, fully operational, and ready for shipment. You will also support warehouse operations, hazardous materials handling, and equipment transport.
What You'll Do:
  • Assemble and prepare ATVs and snowmachines for shipment
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate major repairs when required
  • Maintain maintenance logs and compliance documentation
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Stage, load, and secure equipment for shipment
  • Handle and process hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
  • Complete shipping paperwork and labeling
  • Operate box trucks to transport equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience repairing or maintaining motorized equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to obtain HazMat certification
  • Ability to follow technical manuals and safety procedures Nice to
Have:
  • Experience with ATVs, snowmachines, or small engines
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with hazardous materials
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and hands-on work
