Job Description

JOB OPPORTUNITY
Century Marine•Lake Pleasant Harbor is currently looking to fulfill 1 full time mechanics position inside of our busy service shop. Outboard Technician with experience in Mercury and Yamaha and Suzuki Outboards would be beneficial but not a requirement Inboard Technician with experience in PCM, Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, PCM, Indmar.
Job requirements are as follows:
( Certifications is desired ). 1.
EXPERIENCE
•We are looking for someone that has experience in either marine mechanics or auto mechanics. Marine tech schooling is preferred. However, all experience will be considered as we are looking for quick learners who work hard and work well with coworkers. Will train. 2.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
•You will be required to work with Service writers and other technicians so communication skills are a must. You will be responsible for Work Order management, making notes of all work done/parts used on each job. 3.
ORGANIZATION SKILLS
•The marine industry has been growing over the years and Century Marine has been expanding right along with it. Applicant must be able to maintain an organized work space, and be able to manage multiple work orders at times. 4. TOOLS•You must be able to provide your own tools at the start of employment. A basic set of tools is required. Any/all specialty tools can be provided by shop or bought through vendors. 5.
BACKGROUND CHECK/DRUG TEST
•Century Marine is a drug/alcohol free company. All applicants are required to submit to a drug test and or background check. Applicants must also have a clean driving record. 6.
FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
•Preferred but not required.
ABOUT CENTURY MARINE
Century Marine was opened in 1979 by Bruce and Janet Bosley who have helped shape the path of wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and water skiing and boating in Arizona. Bruce still runs the business and is on site every day. Century Marine has been keeping Arizona families boating ever since with Centurion, Supreme, Regal, and Bass Cat Boats!
