You'll support skilled marine technicians in performing repairs and maintenance on luxury yachts across Marina del Rey and nearby marinas. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the maritime industry and looking to grow their skills in marine electrical systems, diesel engines, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Applicants with electrical experience are strongly preferred. Schedule Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week 4-Day Work Week | You choose which day you'd like off 8 Hours of Guaranteed Overtime per week Weekends are typically not required
Responsibilities:
Assist with repairs, installations, and general maintenance on luxury yachts Support troubleshooting and repairs of marine electrical systems Help with lifting, holding materials/tools, and maintaining clean work areas Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Assist in diagnosing and repairing marine diesel inboard and outboard engines Support plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry-related projects Assist with purchasing parts and supplies as needed Track and summarize work performed in our timekeeping system
Qualifications:
Electrical experience strongly preferred (marine, automotive, residential, commercial, or industrial) Sailing or Rigging Experience preferred Must be able to get on and off vessels safely and comfortably Interested in a long-term career in the marine industry Able to lift 50 lbs High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to pass a pre-employment background check Strong communication and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and grow Why Work With Us?
