Job Description
Marine Technician - Part-Time or Full-Time Company Overview We are a professional marine service company dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and customer support for recreational and commercial vessels. We take pride in reliable workmanship, strong communication, and exceptional service on and off the water. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marine Technician to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with marine systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine mechanical and electrical systems Perform routine vessel maintenance, inspections, and service work Install and service marine equipment and accessories Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, steering systems, batteries, and electrical components Conduct testing and sea trials as needed Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and service vehicles. Qualifications Previous experience as a Marine Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Boat Mechanic, or similar role preferred Knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, plumbing, and onboard systems Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift equipment and work in marine environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Marine certifications are a plus but not required.
