Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Cart Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of golf carts and electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers and keep our fleet operating smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about vehicle maintenance, with a focus on electric and small engine systems, to contribute to a fast-paced environment that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts using tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Conduct repairs including brake replacement, suspension adjustments, electrical and assembly of vehicle components. Maintain and service vehicles by replacing worn parts, performing routine inspections, and ensuring proper lubrication and fluid levels. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and battery components, ensuring all systems operate correctly. Conduct vehicle inspections to verify safety standards are met before returning units to service or customer delivery. Keep detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules in accordance with company policies. Experience Previous dealership experience or automotive service technician background is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of Golf Carts and repair procedures. Familiarity with Golf Cart maintenance including brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly processes. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting safely in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Knowledge of Golf Cart electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues effectively is a plus. Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols while performing repairs on small engines or electric vehicles.
