The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment for electric golf carts. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Some specialty tools will be provided by the shop but mechanics are required to provide their own tools. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment (golf carts). Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and techniques, including an ohmmeter. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to equipment failure. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and safety standards are met. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to mechanical systems. Skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
