Full Job Description About Us:
A-1 Marine Group is a family-owned business in Fort Lauderdale, FL that has been operating since 2000. We service vessels from center consoles to 200' mega yachts. Our primary services include marine A/C, thru-hull installation, raw and freshwater plumbing systems, electrical, and hydraulic systems. We are professional, fast-paced, challenging and our goal is to provide better than industry standard services to our clients. Our firm is seeking a Marine Technician that is a highly motivated, dependable and an energetic individual capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team while performing a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced technician who is able to work on and repair marine vessels on both land and sea. The primary responsibility of the position is the maintenance/repair of existing systems and installing new systems.
Responsibilities:
Be on time. Do repair and maintenance on marine A/C systems and components. Basic electrical understanding to be able to properly troubleshoot components. Perform post-repair tests to ensure the quality of repair work performed. Perform standard tests used to diagnose equipment failure.. Be safe at all times and follow all OSHA safety regulations.
