Marine Technician/Mechanic

Coastal Offshore X-Cellence is seeking a skilled and dependable Marine Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing marine vessel systems and mechanical equipment, with a strong focus on electrical, mechanical, and stabilization technologies. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced working in marine environments. This position plays a critical role in supporting vessel performance, safety, and reliability while delivering high-quality service to our customers. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on marine vessels and mechanical systems Install, service, and troubleshoot gyroscopic stabilizers, trim tabs, and fin stabilization systems Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Conduct fabrication and assembly work using fiberglass, acrylic, starboard, and marine-grade materials Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs Assist with vessel installations, rigging, and equipment upgrades Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance Work collaboratively with team members to deliver reliable, high-quality service Qualifications Experience as a Marine Technician, Mechanic, or Service Technician in marine or related industries Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience installing or servicing gyroscopic stabilizers or marine stabilization systems preferred Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Hands-on experience with fabrication, rigging, and mechanical repair Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, bending, and standing Valid driver's license required Military or technical training is a plus What We Offer Hands-on work with advanced marine and stabilization systems Stable, full-time position with opportunities for growth Competitive pay based on experience Benefits package and career development opportunities Team-oriented, safety-focused work environment Why Join Coastal Offshore X-Cellence At Coastal Offshore X-Cellence, we specialize in precision marine electrical and stabilization solutions for vessels worldwide.
