Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Cart Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our fleet of electric and gas-powered golf carts. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service a variety of golf cart models to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical expertise will keep our carts running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the overall experience on the course or facility. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts using automotive diagnostics tools to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension checks, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, batteries, brakes, suspension parts, and wiring using hand tools and power tools Assemble new golf carts by following technical manuals and assembly instructions with precision and attention to detail Solder electrical connections and perform welding as needed for repairs or modifications Assist with heavy lifting of parts or carts safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all repairs performed Experience Dealership experience or background working in automotive repair shops highly preferred Proven service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems Hands-on mechanic experience with vehicle maintenance, brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly processes Familiarity with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices Customer service skills to effectively communicate repair needs and solutions to clients or team members Experience working with electric vehicles or golf carts is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specialized equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering top-tier maintenance services that keep our golf carts running at peak performance!
