• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled Small Engine & Equipment Mechanic to support our landscape maintenance operations.

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of landscaping equipment, as well as perform minor truck and trailer repairs to keep our crews running efficiently. Your work will ensure our mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks, and trailers are safe, reliable, and job-ready each day. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines including mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, spark plugs, and tune-ups Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on equipment Perform minor truck and trailer repairs , including: Lights and wiring Tires and wheels Basic brake work Hitch and trailer components Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operation and compliance with company standards Respond to field breakdowns when necessary Keep shop, tools, and parts inventory organized Experience Proven experience in small engine repair (2-cycle and 4-cycle engines) Experience with landscaping equipment required Basic knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance preferred Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read basic schematics and service manuals Preferred (Not Required) Experience with diesel engines or larger equipment Welding or fabrication experience Previous experience in landscaping or fleet maintenance Requirements Valid driver's license (Required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Strong attention to detail and safety
