This role balances proactive and reactive service calls, installs for smaller scale projects, and dock accessory sales while incentivizing developing long-term customer relationships through sales of our annual maintenance plans, obtaining five-star service ratings, and referring customers to our dedicated sales team for larger projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Proven track record in sales, preferably within the marine construction, in-home services, or related industries Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present solutions and alternatives Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, and providing outstanding customer service and follow-through Self-motivated, results-driven, goal oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market dynamics Active, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as required Ability to pass examination to comply with our drug-free workplace policy Coachability and willingness to learn and adapt Proficient in basic technology and computer skills/software, such as Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce or equivalent cloud-based CRM systems and services, touch screens, and DocuSign or equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
Knowledge of marine construction products, services, and project requirements Familiarity with GIS mapping software Bilingual (English/Spanish)
