  • Full-time About A marine manufacturing company is seeking a Marine Mechanic to support manufacturing, service, and repair operations involving marine systems, outboard engines, and boat trailer components.
This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring safe and reliable operation across marine production and service environments.

  • 3:15 PM Medley, FL Compensation & Benefits $14-40/hour Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Referral program Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain marine mechanical systems, outboard engines, and boat trailer components Perform preventative maintenance including inspections, lubrication, tire service, wheel alignments, brake inspections, and operational testing Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including engines, steering, rigging, hydraulics, navigation, communication, networking, audio/video, and security systems Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, fabrication tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Perform welding and fabrication work as needed Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting activities Collaborate with production, rigging, assembly, and service teams to support operational schedules and customer needs Identify and communicate mechanical or production issues requiring corrective action Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, operational standards, and quality expectations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a Marine Mechanic, Trailer Mechanic, or Mechanical Technician preferred Troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities involving marine systems, outboard engines, trailer systems, brakes, hydraulics, or related components Experience working with marine electrical, navigation, and communication systems preferred Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and diagnostic equipment Welding and fabrication experience preferred Must own basic personal tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying manufacturing or marine service conditions Authorization to work in the United States required
