Golf Cart Technician

Overview Join our dynamic Cruzin30A team as a Golf Cart Technician and become a vital part of maintaining the smooth operation of our golf cart fleet. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electric carts to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver a seamless experience for our guests and uphold the high standards of our recreational facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while contributing to memorable leisure experiences. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance golf carts, including checking batteries, motors, brakes, tires, and electrical systems. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, performing repairs or replacements as needed to restore cart functionality. Maintain detailed service records, documenting repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed for each vehicle. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others on site. Assist with the installation of new components or upgrades to improve cart performance or extend lifespan. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely availability of carts for daily operations. Requirements Proven experience with golf cart diagnosis and repairs Strong understanding of electrical systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides clearly. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs. Physical ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment. Must have your own tools that will also integrate with some of the core infrastructure provided at the shop Engineering flexibility to learn and adapt to the installation of golf cart accessories such as enclosures, hitches, lighting, etc. Must have a FL Drivers License and good driving record

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
